In this year, the program focused on improving the management and disaster response of toxic chemical operating plants at Yunlin County. Moreover, the database of disaster prevention and protection was established and was aslo involved in program content . Up to now, we appointed one person to engineer, and our services inclouded 130 times of operations management and inspection, 2 telephone-communication tests, 4 regulation promulgations/ toxic chemical disaster prevention workshops, 11 unannounced tests, 135 tests for detective and alarmed equipments, 14 field exercises with all-out, and 2 field support of chemical events, etc. In addition, the basic information, emergency equipments, locations of toxic chemicals, and detective and alarmed equipments were updated every month. In order to coordinate the Environmental Protection Administration’s (EPA) annual evaluation plan, we also assisted in preparing written materials and administrative supports.
